From there, the brass sheet will have a dripline attached draining out the water somewhere other than your cement.Now for your smaller potted plants, obviously there are the plastic trays that you can buy to putthem on, but these plastic trays often do not look the best- they just catch the water.So my solution for the smaller potted plants is having a spongy fabric that your potted plant willjust sit on. This spongy fabric will absorb the excess water so every time there’s a wateroverflow, the fabric will be able to protect your window sill or wherever else your plant is located.
