About Me
Hello! My name is Anhkhoa Le and I am a senior at Skyline High. I have had very little experience starting my own business, but I’m super excited about the prospect of having the amazing mentorship and funding of Granite CEO to get outside my comfort zone and begin my entrepreneurial journey. I value friendship a lot and firmly believe that if I’m not having fun or enjoying what I am doing, then I am doing it wrong. At Skyline, I’ve had the pleasure of participating in FBLA and DECA at the highest level, as well as gaining leadership experiences from them. Outside of the classroom, I’ve had a wonderful time serving on my city’s youth council and working at the Utah STEM Action Center over the summer. I’ve also found time to myself in taking care of my lucky bamboo plant, nine pet rocks, and jade succulent. I am so excited to be a part of CEO!
About My Business
If you have any large planters or potted plants or anything like that, you know that if you everwater them and accidentally overfill the planter, then the water will infuse with the mineraldeposit will actually stain your cement or window sill or wherever you have your planter. If you have that issue, my business, GreenSpace, has just a thing for you.For large planters, we offer a giant brass sheet that you can easily slide under your planters. This brass sheet will look timeless and it’ll catch any of the water with mineral deposit into it, sothat it doesn’t stain your cement or anything else. From there, the brass sheet will have a dripline attached draining out the water somewhere other than your cement. Now for your smaller potted plants, obviously there are the plastic trays that you can buy to putthem on, but these plastic trays often do not look the best- they just catch the water. So my solution for the smaller potted plants is having a spongy fabric that your potted plant willjust sit on. This spongy fabric will absorb the excess water so every time there’s a wateroverflow, the fabric will be able to protect your window sill or wherever else your plant is located.
