“You got to do something radical and crazy”- Jon Porter

We had the distinct honor of hosting our first guest speaker of the year, Jon Porter, whose insights into global sourcing and entrepreneurship offered valuable lessons for aspiring business leaders. Mr. Porter talked about the crucial role that global sourcing plays in running a successful business. As well as Mr. Porter talked about the significance of resilience in achieving success. “You need to put yourself into the game; if you are not in the game, you aren’t doing anything.” He talked about failure as an intrinsic part of the journey; it is through these setbacks that one develops the "grit" needed to persevere in business.
